WAYLAND, MA (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – A woman was severely injured and dozens of people were left without power after an SUV crashed in Wayland this afternoon.
According to the MetroWest Daily News, the collision happened at Green Way and Cochituate Road at around 2:21 p.m., when a white SUV collided with a work truck. The collision also affected multiple utility poles.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital in Burlington with severe injuries.
The other driver refused treatment at the scene.
About 92 people were left without power as a result of the crash.
