WAYLAND, MA (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – A woman was severely injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Wayland late Tuesday night, according to information from NBC Boston.
The collision happened on Rt. 30 and Willow Brook Drive at about 11 p.m., when the driver of a black Kia SUV collided with a utility pole.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities closed westbound lanes of Rt. 30 for several hours to repair utilities.
