ATTLEBORO, MA – A single-vehicle crash on South Avenue and West Street in Attleboro left one dead and another injured Friday.
The collision happened before 5:30 pm, the Boston Globe reported.
For some unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a tree. Then the car caught fire.
One person was pulled out of the car before emergency responders arrived. Due to the impact of the collision, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger was hospitalized for unspecified injuries, and their current condition is unknown.
