Narrative
MEDFORD, MA – Four people went to the hospital Thursday after a three-vehicle crash along the interstate in east-central Middlesex County.
The accident happened just after 5 a.m. along the southbound side of I-93 near exit 24 in Medford, which is about 7 miles northwest of Boston.
Police say haven’t shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the wreck except to say that one of the vehicles involved was part of a construction crew.
Two drivers and two passengers, including a minor, went to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Officials closed the right lane of I-93 southbound while crews worked to clear the scene.
