BOSTON, MA – A woman sustained serious injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in northeast Springfield.
The incident happened around 8:50 a.m. near the intersection of Boston Road and Tavistock Street, which is just east of Five Mile Pond Park.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the collision. They say that one of the drivers was thrown from her vehicle but will likely recover from her injuries.
Medics also transported a passenger and the second driver to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
