At least 2 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Boxford

BOXFORD, MA – At least two people were hospitalized in the aftermath of a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Boxford this morning, according to information from NECN.

The crash happened on southbound I-95 near Route 97 at around 6 a.m., when four vehicles collided. At least one of those vehicles overturned onto its side.

One of the drivers, a 22-year-old man from West Roxbury operating a 2012 Honda Crosstour, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Another victim, identified as a 22-year-old man from Seabrook, N.H., was injured while riding in a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck being driven by a 56-year-old man from Seabrook. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The two other vehicles involved in the crash were a 2009 Toyota Rav4 being driven by a 54-year-old man from Wesley Chapel, Florida, and a 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck being driven by a 27-year-old man from Portsmouth, N.H.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
