Narrative
FALMOUTH, MA – One person died, and two people were hurt Friday in a single-vehicle collision along the highway in southwest Barnstable County.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. along Route 28 in Falmouth, which is just north of Martha’s Vineyard.
Police haven’t commented on the cause of the wreck, but they say one person was ejected from the vehicle. That person died at the scene. Authorities say the victim was a teen but have not released their name to the public.
Two additional occupants of the vehicle were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
