Narrative
FALL RIVER, MA – A 25-year-old woman died, and one other person sustained injuries Wednesday when a box truck struck them in a Fall River parking lot.
The incident happened around noon at the non-profit My Brother’s Keeper, which is located at 216 Joseph Drive.
The two victims were volunteers and that they were helping to pick up a dresser when the accident occurred. According to police, the driver of the box truck reversed into the two volunteers, killing one of them and critically injuring another.
Authorities identified the deceased as 67-year-old Jean Revil of Dartmouth. They identified the other victim as a 64-year-old man.
A full investigation is underway to determine what caused the driver of the truck to reverse.
