Narrative
GROTON, MA – A 27-year-old man died Wednesday in a head-on collision along a major roadway in northwest Middlesex County.
The accident happened just before 4:30 p.m. on the westbound side of Boston Road, which runs northwest to southeast on the southern outskirts of Groton.
Police say that a westbound vehicle entered the eastbound lanes of Boston Road, struck, and fatally injured a motorcyclist. Authorities identified him as Cody Trudell.
Tudell died after after transport to a local hospital.
The wrong-way driver stopped to render aid and speak with police.
