AMESBURY, MA – Four people went to the hospital Wednesday after a 2-vehicle crash involving a bus in northern Essex County.
The incident happened just after 5:20 p.m. in the city of Amesbury on Haverhill Road near Claire Road.
Police say that a wrong-way SUV collided with a Merrimack Valley Transit bus carrying 15 to 20 passengers.
Three people from the bus went to the hospital with undisclosed injuries, and the driver of the SUV went to the hospital via ground ambulance.
Oner person sustained serious injuries in the accident.
