Narrative
MARSHFIELD, MA – A 79-year-old woman driving a red SUV was said to have turned left in front of a tan military style police vehicle and collided with it prior to suffering fatal wounds. This collision happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Plain Street and Lady Slipper Lane intersection. The Plymouth District Attorney’s Office said the tan vehicle was driven by a police officer who was not responding to a call. The military style automobile appeared to have not been damaged, while the red Subaru sustained significant front-end damage. The officer involved in the crash was unharmed, and the woman was sent to South Shore Hospital where she later died. An investigation has been launched; no other details have been made available.
